The pollens are useful for applications such as fluid mechanics research, dispersion studies, filter evaluation and testing, and many other research projects.
This selection of products provides model specimens for analyzing and controlling pollens, a common industrial contaminant.
Pollens can also be used as controls for test systems, or as models of biological cells when stained with cytochemical dyes. Packaged as dry powder, the pollens will swell to a spherical shape after immersion in aqueous solutions. The size data pertains to the hydrated spherical condition.
