Biopolymer particles

Crosslinked magnetic dextran nanoparticles (nanomag¢ç -CLD)
  • prepared via the core-shell method with a core of magnetite and a dextran shell
  • available with particle diameters of 300 nm and 500 nm
  • consist of 80-90% (w/w) magnetite in a matrix of crosslinked dextran (40.000 D) and can -easily be separated with a conventional permanent magnet
  • designed with NH2, COOH, PEG-COOH or maleimide groups for the covalent binding of proteins, antibodies or other molecules
  • available with covalently bound streptavidin (or other proteins on request)
