Qromix™ Chromatography by QEC provides a wide choice of materials (both upper and lower barriers as well as elastomers), thicknesses and durometer measurement offer you the ideal combinations for your various sealing applications. Qromix™ means a consistent seal that keeps its promises time and again, improving your results and lowering your overall cost of operation.

11mm Crimp Seal Vials
Wide Opening or standard opening. Wide opening vials have a 40% larger opening than standard opening aluminum seal vials. Manufactured of Clear, Type 1 Class A or Amber, Type 1 Class B, borosilicate glass. Available with standard graduated write-on patch. The standard 12x32mm profile is compatible with 11mm aluminum seal closures.

11mm Crimp Seals
•11mm aluminum crimp top seals have a larger opening to ensure proper needle penetration
•Caps are made of high quality lacquered aluminum, 0.010” thick
•Standard cap colors include silver, red, and green. Special order cap colors are available on request. •Our septa consist of only the highest quality materials to ensure proper function

Natural Rubber/ETFE, 0.040"
0.038” Red Natural Rubber with 0.002” Clear ETFE
Used for general analyses in gas chromatography
QEC Natural Rubber septa are designed for high performance and economy. Manufactured from a high quality, custom developed compound, these products exhibit excellent re-sealability, very good chemical resistance, and can withstand up to 100ºC temperatures. Natural Rubber septa work particularly well with organic solvents.
The ETFE coating combines superior mechanical toughness with an outstanding chemical inertness comparable to PTFE coating resins.
